MAPCO
HOODS ARE BUILT TO LAST
All exhaust hoods shown on this page are standard hood
designs used frequently in the metal finishing industry. MAPCO
can design virtually any type of exhaust hood to fit your process. Proper
plenum velocity, slot velocity and takeoff size and velocity
are critical to hood performance.
All exhaust hoods are fabricated of corrosion resistant
materials such as PVC, polypropylene, stainless steel and FRP.
PVC and FRP exhaust hoods are fabricated with a minimum 3/16" thick
material. In many cases 1/4" and/or 3/8" material
is used.
